Who I Am

I’m the Director of Mind-Body Integrative Therapy, with over 20 years of lived experience navigating PTSD and five years specializing in trauma-informed care. My own healing journey led me beyond traditional talk therapy and into the transformative world of body-centered practices like Somatic Experiencing, EFT Tapping, Brain Spotting, Mindfulness, and Meditation.

What I Learned

What I’ve learned—both personally and professionally—is that the body holds the key to it's own healing. Just as animals instinctively discharge stress and return to a state of homeostasis after threat, humans also possess a built-in capacity to restore to homeostasis. This process is not lost—only blocked by layers of conscious barriers such as our thoughts, attachments, judgements, busyness, and other common distractions.

Why You Should Care

Over the past five years, I’ve developed a method called The Inner Room, designed to help guide individuals to reconnect with this innate healing capacity.  The Inner Room (TIR) method integrates concepts and techniques from established psychological theories and interdisciplinary practices such as Gestalt, Free Association, Internal Family System, Inner-Child,, and Guided Imagery/Visualization. This method eases the therapist’s role by shifting from directive to facilitative, guiding clients to gently remove conscious barriers and access their own subconscious healing intelligence in a safe, embodied way.

When we remove the conscious barriers, the body knows exactly what to do. Healing isn’t something we force—it’s something we allow
