Director of Mind-Body Integrative Therapy
With over 20 years of lived experience navigating PTSD and five years specializing in trauma-informed care, Sarah-Brooke developed The Inner Room method to help individuals reconnect with their innate healing capacity. This method eases the therapist’s role by shifting from directive to facilitative, guiding clients to gently remove conscious barriers and access their own subconscious healing intelligence in a safe, embodied way.
When we remove the conscious barriers, the body knows exactly what to do. Healing isn’t something we force—it’s something we allow
Testimonials from Recipients of TIR Method
I have been receiving services from Sarah-Brooke/Mind Body Integrative for 6 years now and love her approach to mental health and healing. We recently started using the “Inner Room” method, and this has been incredibly helpful and impactful for my journey. Inner Room work has helped my logical/conscious brain take a step back, allowing my subconscious to step forward and reveal deeper meaning and connections to what is going on in my life and how it impacts my inner world. This approach feels new and innovative, allowing the client's own inner world to lead to answers and uncover underlying feelings and reasoning. I find that this work has allowed me to create a stronger connection with myself and build trust and understanding within. One personal discovery with this method is that I am finding I typically have the answers within, which gives me a way to safely uncover them with the excellent guidance of Sarah-Brooke. This truly puts the power and tools into the client's hands and gives us ownership over our experience, feelings, and truth.
I love Inner Room work and can’t wait to continue building this into my healing journey with the incredible support of Sarah-Brooke!!
